GET FUTURISTIC LAST TRAIN TO PARIS by DIRTY MONEY

“Last Train to Paris by Diddy Dirty Money is great example of modern futuristic music. And I’m not surprised because this product comes from one the most influential taste-makers of NYC – Sean P-Diddy Combs and incredibly talented songwriters Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper. Well, if you read this blog you wouldn’t be surprised aether, because in one of our previous exclusive interviews with Dawn Richard she told us about futuristic influence on her and her future releases. There is already second week after album being released worldwide, and if you don’t heard it yet, I strongly recommend to buy it asap! You need to stay in touch with trends and futuristic movement. This album is truly sophisticated, taste-making, and essentially fresh.” – by Mark Holiday aka Trendsetter.

This album was highly anticipated, And now we are extremely interested how trendy futuristic music is selling these days… According to our usual source Hits Daily Double, which builds albums sales chart and updated every 5 minutes Mondays and Tuesdays, before results gets to SoundScan, Diddy & Dirty Money’s “Last Train To Paris” album has sold 87,380 copies on its first week of release (#10 on the sales chart), which is FINAL of sales collected for his first week of release.

Here what Hip-Hop Wired wrote about it:

Diddy Dirty Money‘s highly publicized, Last Train To Paris pulled in 100,900 paying passengers in it’s first week, debuting at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Diddy’s first album since 2006’s Press Play was only predicted to move 60,000-65,000 units by industry insider Hitsdailydouble.com

Michael Jackson also returned to the charts for the first time since his 2001, Invincible album.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, the singer’s posthumous release, Michael moved 228,200 records after a week in stores, landing at the No. 3 position. The collection of unfinished recordings, took the No. 1 slot in Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden.

Kanye‘s latest opus, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy stands at the No. 23 slot moving 66,100 copies, making its total stand at 738,100.

Here is the http://concreteloop.com Story:

After much talk and several delays, Dirty Money delivers the futuristic love story on their much anticipated album,Last Train To Paris, which is in stores now.

Last Train To Paris is probably rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ first foray into the world of conceptual albums. With it being three years in the making, Combs describes the album as a vivid love story, following his character on a journey from London to Paris. Along with former Danity Kane star, Dawn Richard and singer/songwriter, Kalenna Harper (who’s characters are named Neon and Flux), Diddy finds the woman of his dreams, loses her, finds her again, only to lose her once more, and then reunite with her a final time. Some may have argued that such a task may have been a little ambitious for Combs, but Last Train To Parisflows almost seamlessly to tell the story.

At first, it may have been fair to say that Diddy was jumping on the bandwagon of the electronica, Europop and dance sound for his latest album, but judging from the material on the album, Combs really understands the groove and feeling of the sound. It sounds quite authentic, and rightfully so, with the myriad of the producers that appear on the album, including Rob Holladay, Swizz Beatz, Danja, Seven Aurelius, Polow Da Don and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, to name a few. Usually, when an album boasts so many producers, listeners can tend to get lost in the sauce, but the sounds fuse very well, which also deliberately showcases Diddy’s taste, which some may think comes into question a lot. It’s almost as if you can listen to the album track by track, without knowing when the song switches, until the mood does.

One might also argue that a distraction lies on the album with a conflict between Dawn and Kalenna being featured vocalists and the sixteen other featured artists on the album. But the honesty of the situation is, when listening to the album, you’re enjoying yourself way too much to even notice. The collaborations fit in strategically, and Kalenna and Dawn stay afloat as the supporting characters to Diddy’s protagonist. Besides, who could get mad at features from Grace Jones, Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Notorious B.I.G., and Bilal? And that’s just where they begin.

The story is told effortlessly, but there are few moments on Last Train To Paris that shine brighter than others. The highest points lie on the tracks where the most emotions are displayed, be it in the vocal or the lyrics. Chris Brown and Diddy lay it on thick on“Yesterday,” where Chris croons, “Yesterday I fell in love/Today feels like my funeral/I just got hit by a bus/Shouldn’t have been so beautiful/Don’t know why I gave my heart, gave my trust, gave everything…” while the rapping Diddy cosigns by chanting, “I don’t comprehend how you can’t love, when it’s so easy to.”

Kalenna and Dawn have their crowning moments on the album too, with the blaring “Ass On the Floor,” the album’s next single, as well as Grace Jones-assisted “Yeah Yeah You Would”and the smooth, piano-driven, “I Hate That You Love Me.” Another moment on the album can be found in “Shades,” which feels like something stolen straight off of Prince’s B-Sides.

There’s no denying that Last Train To Paris delivered, despite the time it took to wait for it. It’s clear that after the success of the Keyshia Cole-featured “Last Night” from 2006′s Press Play, Diddy decided to stretch the feel into a whole album, and did so with much success. It’srefreshing to get a concept album in a genre that would usually conflict in, considering that more recently, we haven’t gotten to see as many sides and dimensions of hip hop and R&B.There’s most definitely something for everyone here. 7.) BMW Gina Philosophy:

The BMW GINA Light Visionary Model has finally been revealed, and the futuristic design study shows how BMW designers are thinking outside of the box when it comes to the materials that make up a car and also how the car relates to the driver. GINA stands for “Geometry and Functions in ‘N’ Adaptations”, which basically means that designers from both BMW and BMW Group DesignworksUSA were allowed to throw out the rulebook. This is most evident in the GINA Light Visionary Model’s outer skin, which is made entirely out of textile fabric that’s pulled taut around a frame of metal and carbon fiber wires. The skeleton of the car is controlled by electro-hydraulic devices and can actually move and change shape beneath the fabric skin. For instance, the headlights of the concept can be exposed or hidden by the car’s skin just like blinking eyes, and the hood opens from the center as the fabric parts to expose the engine. This idea extends to the interior, where BMW designers have made visible only those instruments that are required at a certain time, while the rest of the time the same fabric interior “blinks” them out of view. The car itself looks somewhat like a Z4 Roadster, though after viewing the extensive gallery of high-res images below, you’ll be amazed how much the outer skin looks like normal sheetmetal. Until, that is, you see how the doors open. They lift up in a semi-scissor fashion and since there are no exposed hinges, the fabric artfully binds up as the door swings open. While the design of the GINA Light Visionary Model is very Bangle-esque with concave and convex surfaces intermingling everywhere you look, it looks appropriate and natural here. The car is very much a concept, meant more to inspire BMW’s own designers and engineers rather than excite the public, but now we’re excited about shape-changin, fabric-covered cars, anyway. and P.S. One of futuristic music pioneers – Trendsetter aka Mark Holiday, produced exclusive music for this commercial. It is done in authentic electro / techno style.

Tron: Legacy – part one: the style, the trend, the soundtrack.

Well, if you like futuristic style and flow in fashion and music, than you definitely feel how “Tron” will effect us all. =) The style and the whole theme of this movie is already inspirational for many designers and artists. And you don’t need to be trendsetter to predict that after this movie will be shown to the world, this will be like a huge bomb that blow all the fashion and music world. “Futuristic” and “ElecTRONic” themes will be in most of the collections of young designers and in most of the albums of talenter pop artists. You all see like Futuristic, Neon and Electronic style spread the world with help of Alexander Mcqueen, Lacoste, Balenciaga, Ciara, Dawn Richard, KanYe West, DAft Punk, Mark Holiday Trendsetter, Cassie, Missy Elliott, and some other.

Trendsetter (Mark Holiday) told me back in 2009 – “Neon Lights, Electronic Music, and Retro Futurism will be trends in 2010 and remain till 2012”. Well he was right about 2010, and i think with the Legacy that Tron the movie will left, it seems like futurism will remain trendy after. Too many influential artists and designers already done enough to make it worldwide movement. I done my research, and you should do yours, and then, think about it: what if you know what will be hot in future, won’t you been using this knowledge to get money. You can always use Tron upcoming buzz to start your new clothing or accessory collection. And i must say, it will be much cooler and easier than following last year trend with Avatar. =)

And now to the soundtrack. I’m sure you will agree with me, it is EPIC! “futurEPIC” (c) is i will. lol I saw it first at one of my favorite blogs hypetrack.com they upload some tracks here: SOUNDCLOUD Of course there are more than 24 tracks in official release (coming soon…) As the matter-of-fact you can hear more on YOUTUBE just do your search in there. The original soundtrack was scored completely and only by Duft Punk! Hell Yeah, and producer like Pharrell Williams leaved jealously behind. Pharrell doesn’t hide his disappointment, cuz he was hyped about this project since 2008, but Joseph Kosinski picked the best!
