FUTURISTIC SUNGLASSES TREND IS BACK! With Kim Kardashian.

Trends in fashion usually getting back every 15 years, but this futuristic trend is back a couple years earlier. With celebrities rocking sci-fi-themed fashion clothes and accessories, as well as TONS of movies of this genre are coming out in recent couple of years, plus, mainstream music is getting same style treatment with «cyberpunk» genre of EDM is in full bloom right now.

But back to fashion for a moment, you kinda know the futuristic style is mainstream when Kim Kardashian is rocking it. Because she herself and her team are always on top of whats hot in show-business. So this collaboration with prominent Israel based designer Carolina Lemke is one more indicator for our beloved style getting back big time.

This collection of seven sunglasses that cost $90 a piece are available to shop right now. She is also set to release a second collection featuring six different styles in late Spring. Carolina Lemke is an eyewear brand that works under a modern code: fashion comes first, and fashion is for all. The brand’s aesthetic is a Techno-Futuristic European style born out of the vibrant art, music and fashion scenes of Berlin. The label launches in the North American market in March, 2019.

Kim Kardashian West has added a new product category to her empire, one that’s perfectly suited to her L.A. lifestyle: A line of sunglasses in collaboration with Israel-based eyewear brand Carolina Lemke. In addition to partnering on the designs, Kardashian West also appears in the ad campaign; the first images, released Tuesday, were photographed by the high-wattage fashion photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

«Mert & Marcus are really good friends, and we have been talking about projects we could work on together,» Kardashian West told The Hollywood Reporter. «So when the opportunity for the Carolina Lemke campaign came up, I knew I wanted the best photographer, so I reached out. We came up with this really fun concept that highlights the sunglasses in a very futuristic, powerful way.»

The campaign indeed reflects a futuristic vibe, while also winking at the Kardashian West image in popular culture. In some photos, five models styled as clones surround the beauty and lifestyle mogul, sparking the question: Which is the real Kim? And calling to mind the time in January 2018 when her husband Kanye West turned Paris Hilton and other models into Kim clones for his Yeezy season six campaign. Her longtime glam team — personal stylist Danielle Levi, hairstylist Chris Appleton and makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, who also partners with Kardashian West on KKW Beauty — also worked on the images.

GET FUTURISTIC NICKI MINAJ

— «Nicki Minaj is one more influential superstar that picked up futuristic trend, it means that futuristic movement become overwhelming!» — Mark Trendsetter Holiday

She really is very influential right now. Her debut effort, «Pink Friday,» which is on target to begin with more than 400,000. It could mark the best sales week for a female hip-hop artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.  VIA BILLBOARD

Futuristic Japan theme

Will.I.Am teaming up with Nicki Minaj is a perfect collab in my opinion – they’re both equally creative and unique, and it could be said that Nicki’s ‘Barbie’ image is a perfect fit with this funky electro-pop track. Sampling The Buggles vocals “oh oh” and the synth chords and keyboard riff from “Video Killed the Radio Star” contributes to the bubbly track creating a cheerful melody. Lyrically the track is uncomplicated and not serious, and seems to be purely for fun and entertainment with random lyrics like “I Can’t Believe It, This So Amazing……I Can’t Believe It, This Beat Is Banging…”.

The duo is simply brushing off all their haters. With the Japanese and futuristic theme, and eccentric outfits some would think they’re just laughing in their faces as they’re not taking the haters, or even themselves seriously – they don’t mind looking wacky, or acting silly as despite this they’re still making money and dominating the music scene! This funky party track is totally draped in auto-tune but the robotic vocals works well with the theme of the video, which is full of fun and cheese, and total originality, which Will and Nicki clearly deliver effectively well.
