GET FUTURISTIC LADY GAGA
This lady is a tiny person with a big voice, a flair for fashion, and a lot of love to spread. She was discovered during one of many wild performances in 2006, dancing at the piano in her trade-mark spanky pants and black eyeliner–the hypothetical lovechild of David Bowie and Jerry Lee Lewis. Soon after, GaGa signed with multi-platinum producer, Rob Fusari.
Her debut album is a hip-hop infused pop-lovers dream. The album combines her love of Beatles’ melodies with retro dance beats, plastic synth sounds, and a corky rock piano style that solidifies her as a true pop queen. Any girl who names herself after a Queen song sparkles my world.
Her motto is “Changing the world – one sequin at a time.”
– What planet is she from?
“When you make music or write or create, it’s really your job to have mind-blowing, irresponsible sex with whatever idea it is you’re writing about at the time.”
“I just don’t feel that it’s all that sexy. It’s weird. And uncomfortable. I look at photos of myself, and I look like such a tranny! It’s amazing!
“I look like Grace Jones, androgynous, robo, future fashion queen. It’s not what is sexy. It’s graphic and it’s art.
“I don’t really think anybody’s d*** is hard, looking at that. I think they’re just confused and maybe a little scared.”
“I’m really free-spirited about love and sexuality, which I think is apparent in my music, and even the visuals, which are all very androgynous,” she tells PopEater. “But the minute you say something about who you are, people think you’re just playing the ‘edgy card’ and that’s not what I want people to think of me as. I want them to think fashion, pop culture, avant-garde, fearless — the girl who brought the straight boys into the gay club.”
She told London’s Metro newspaper that that her favorite fashion accessory went missing during the Pussycat Dolls’ European tour, which she is currently performing on as a support act.
“The only downer was that my Versaces were stolen,” she said. “I’m so devastated I can barely talk.
“If anyone knows where my Biggie Smalls Versace glasses are I’ll make them the star of my next video!”
“My family really respect all the hard work and achievements I’ve done so to them I am GaGa. I think it’s cute that they call me that.”
GaGa recently compared writing a new song to dating a “few men at once.”
“Writing a record is like dating a few men at once,” she said. “You take them to the same restaurants to see if they measure up, and at some point you decide who you like best.”
